What’s in a name? Well, in the case of four month old Cerella – aside from being unique, springtime comes to mind. In fact, I met this adorable blue eyed baby girl on a rainy, spring morning. And shortly after we were introduced, it was bath time – which Cerella just loved! We then hung out with her big sister for some photos (see previous post) and pretty soon after that, it was nap time. Here are a few of my faves from Cerella’s lifestyle/portrait shoot.

I spent a rainy Saturday hanging out with Rima and her wonderful family at their home, where I had a blast with Cerella and Christabel’s lifestyle/portrait shoot. In between shots, we talked about life and work, had some Turkish coffee (my first time ever) with homemade brownies and ate pizza with ketchup (apparently, just the way their Dad likes it). Grandma even popped by to strike a pose with the girls – priceless! As I look through all the photos from this session, I have too many favourites and so I think that Cerella and Christabel each deserve their own blog posts here. More photos to follow – please stay tuned! For now though, here’s a sneak peak of the two of them together (soooo cute).

Giovanni

Newborns are special. And taking photos of Giovanni was even more so. When we did this shoot, this wonderful baby boy was only 2 weeks old but already very much aware of his surroundings (look at those piercing eyes). It was a pleasure to hang out with his grandma, his mom Gaby and his dad Marwan. It was easy to see and feel the love for this family’s first born, Giovanni, who will surely make a great big brother.

Thanks to M+C for welcoming me into their home – it was the perfect place to shoot “a-day-in-the-life” of their beautiful daughter V. At almost 10 months old, V knows what she likes – avocado, mom’s flip flops and exploring everything! I had fun at this shoot and have way too many faves to post here, but here are a few from V’s baby lifestyle/portrait session.

I love taking photos of babies! They’re happy, pure, gentle, curious, cute. And this post celebrates the cutest eight month old, baby Tyson, in his baby lifestyle/portrait shoot! I was blessed to hang out with Tyson and his wonderful parents, John and Chen, in their beautiful home where we did the shoot, on one of the coldest winter days so far here in Ottawa. And you’re about to see what I mean when I say Tyson’s infectious smile (and laughter) just melts your heart – check out a few of my favourite photos from our session.
