They are as sweet and natural with each other as they are in front of the camera. I had a great time shooting Marc and Shannon as we walked around downtown Ottawa on a beautiful, sun-filled Sunday afternoon a few weeks ago. And I can’t wait to capture their wedding day! At the reception, they had this photo framed in a mat for everyone to sign – it’s one of my absolute engagement photo faves…EVER!

For their engagement shoot, we tossed around a few ideas but it was Marlene who came up with the brilliant idea to go for a hike up in the Gats. Man with the fiddle and black flies aside, it was the cutest cabin I’ve ever seen! We soon forgot the dark clouds and forecast of showers and moved on to another location for a bit of a picnic. That is, until we started thinking about food and was tempted by chip wagon fries (yes with malt vinegar and ketchup…mmmm). I had fun with these two and I can’t wait to see them on their big day.
